Michael Rosenbaum starred in Impastor (2015-16) as "Buddy Dobbs," who gambles on passing as a small-town gay pastor while hiding out from his godless bookie. Pure fantasy-fiction I know: the writers depicted a Christian congregation as if they actually took the teachings of Jesus to heart (without any actual preaching). The show was canceled after 20 episodes, with the cliffhangers left forever unresolved. But being a sitcom, you know Buddy will have a happy ending. For instance, maybe... SPOILE...
